Never Too Late is proud to announce Mackenzie Bolling as the inaugural recipient of the Louis & Florene Biggers Memorial Scholarship.

Created to honor the legacy of Louis and Florene Biggers, this scholarship recognizes a graduating senior who demonstrates hard work, perseverance, character, leadership, and a commitment to continued learning and service to others.

Mackenzie embodies each of those qualities. In her scholarship applications, Mackenzie reflected on the values that have shaped her journey—faith, family, service, perseverance, and Charger Pride. Despite undergoing two significant hip surgeries during high school, she maintained academic excellence, leadership involvement, and a strong commitment to serving others. Her determination to continue learning and to use her education to help others perfectly reflects the spirit of this scholarship.

The award was presented during the Central High School Class Night Celebration by Carrollynn Brown and Fredericke Stewart on behalf of the Biggers family and Never Too Late.

As the first recipient of this scholarship, Mackenzie sets a high standard for future applicants. We congratulate her on her achievements and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make in the years ahead.
